Oh i see , it dosent sound too bad but probably worse than it sounds
I have certainly done worse jobs in my time haha
Take.it. Thats my advice then.Once again i want to thank all of you who took the time to reply , literally every one of the comments was much appreciated . I spoke to my buddy at the ndt company today and im going in saturday to meet up with his boss ,have a look around and so on. He said the hours are mainly 37.5 per week ,vs the 45 i do now. anything over this is time and a half, also if i start before 9 or work after 6 it is also time and a half . Travel away from home is required but not very often and i will be given free accomidation and food ect .
The job is mine if i want it but he stressed i will be starting at the bottom and it will be up to me how fast i want to progress( all training is provided and paid for but its up to me to me when i want to take each new certification)
My buddy is genuinely happy there ,he says its a small company friendly boss ,supportive work enviornment.
its a job i have always admired and i believe i will go down this route , ill keep ye all updated on what happens saturday
