hey guys, seeing as i read lots of projects on here i thought i'd show you my first welding project in many years!
Firstly let this be a warning! never utter the words "i could make one of those for half the price!" in front of your parents as in my experience i inevitable end up proving that point!
well anyway after they were quoted a crazy amount of money for a 1800 x 3600 balcony for they're caravan i ended up making one for them! it had to be flat pack and mainly steel so here it is!
Unfortunately my garage hasn't been erected yet so i had to rig a cover over the concrete base but hey it worked
test build in the parents garden
all packed up and ready to go
frame build on site
and finally the complete deck, complete with decking and handrails!
In the end it only took a few hours to build it onsite, if i were to do it again i wouldn't do it the same and could save quite a bit of time on the welding, but hey isn't that the joys of any project
I hope you enjoy
