So been watching more YouTube videos...
What are "wet coats"? The videos talk about doing three wet coats. Does that mean I don't let it dry?
The Lechlar shop said that only the clear coat uses isocyanate, not the base colour coat. That right?
Don't know if I heard right, one video said to go upto 600 grit on the colour coat. Seems a bit coarse?
In one video they used decals as spray templates rather than actually leaving the decals under the clear coat. So they sprayed an accent colour where the decal would be, stuck on the decal, then sprayed the entire car. Decal removed revealing the accent colour. Then clear coat applied. Opinions on this vs just leaving the decal under the clear coat?
The Eastwood video say to use:
Epoxy primer
2K Urethene primer surfacer
Base coat (colour)
Clear coat.
Whats the urethene primer surfacer for seeing as there's already epoxy primer on there?
