Fortunately not ours. The owner who doesn't live in the street, abandons her car Thursday to Monday in our cul-de-sac. Usually right next to one of the drives rather than in a more considerate space, to the general annoyance of the street residents.
Anyway, Sunday night I get woken up at about 1.30 and sure enough it's that Mk5 Fiesta ST alarm going off. No one to be seen so go back to bed, a few minutes later the alarm goes off again. This time I can't be arsed getting up. Then I hear the engine reving and the car shooting off.
Today I got a knock at the door, "have you seen my car", NO, shut door.
Apparently the Mk5 can be accessed via the wing mirror and started via the OBD2. If you have one, take some more security measures.
