I was just trying to weigh up costs and time, I have kids now so much less time so thought I'd take the easy bits for blasting & powder coating and I'd just do the bits that need care, e.g. diffs which needs careful doing so media doesn't get inside when blasting so I'd do those myself, but things like bumpers I could take for powder coating. The local powder coaters want £50 to blast and coat each large item, e.g. £50 each wheel, £50 each bumper, £70 for the bull bars. But it all adds up, so I'm still weighing up between the two. Having kids also means less spare money! Why do you want to powder coat them?
You have the kit to spray.
On something like a rocker cover it will probably be ok but I think paint is better in every case.
e.g. £50 each wheel
Clucking Bell, guy round here (who has been here 30 years) does a set for 90 quid AND a cracking job too.
