Some years ago a friend & I bought a BOC badged scratch Tig/MMA inverter welder. My friend disappeared off to France with the inverter & MMA leads to carry out some repairs on a Long boat he has moored over there, leaving me with the TIG torch & regulators but currently no Bottle.
Very recently I purchased an Rtech 180 Mig welder to replace my ageing Cebora Turbo mig.
The Rtech is also capable of MMA (as well as Mig) & I purchased the additional MMA leads to give me that functionality.
I noticed the MMA connectors on the welder appear to be identical to those on the TIG torch
My question is can I use the TIG torch on the Rtech subject of course to getting a bottle of the right gas.
