Mr Blobby comes to mindHe now has a different MIG and as you can see from the welding in this video it was clearly oxford's fault he can't weld.
Itll be fine, stop watching a Richard Head on youtube and get welder out, set it up and use it. They are a quality transformer machine. Proper kit. It will be far more capable than your skill set will ever be under a rusty car.
I was just wondering if this is commonplace for this welder. I have one and am just about to start using it when I stumbled upon this, my heart sank.
If you click on the link you will find he has some pretty harsh things to say about it.
I’ve sold literally thousands of oxfords and I would say 99% of buyers love them. The other 1% are usually like this chap, refusing to acknowledge any remote possibility that they’ve done something wrong in the setup or preparation process. We usually end up collecting the machine, testing it and reporting back that no issue has been found.
Whilst Technical Arc may be a little old fashioned in the way they deal with their customers they are more than happy to sort any genuine issues with their machines, either at their place or by carrying our fault finding over the phone and sending a part for the end user to fit. Can’t fault them, in all honesty.
