Hello All
I bought a second hand portamig 215 and used it once very successfully. However a few months later I wheeled it out for use, managed to weld one side of a trailer I was fixing no problem, then came to do the other side and the trigger did nothing
The fan is on, along with the power light but I get no wire feed when the trigger is pressed.
I was wondering if someone could help me out on places to look to see whats going on? I've tried the following:
Checked the switch on the torch works with a multimeter set for continuity
Looped the two contacts together on the euro connection on the unit itself and get no response
Checked all connectors / plugs are seated correctly
Sworn at it
I'm guessing it's a duff relay or something on the logic board has gone? I think it's £60 for a logic board but would appreciate anything I can test! Gutted as i've only used it twice, it's in mint condition so hasn't had a hard life!
thanks all!
