Not sure where your going with this but no doubt I’ll find out.
I’ll clarify if your struggling. For me I’ve used enough of them to pick a clear favourite. I haven’t used them all... who has?? Open minded yes of course.. put one in my hand for a week I’ll tell you what I really think. However perfection is hard to beat and in my opinion a snap On spanner is (baring the price) perfect. It’s comfortable, it’s weighty, it’s strong, broad, it grips, slim walls, I just like them if I didn’t I’d sell em all and buy a cheap set and rake in some nice profit. I feel exactly the same about ratchets and sockets. My preference. Hope that helps.
I have used just about all the major ones from my home or at my work. This is in an industrial environment (the marine industry where none of the tools are particularly looked after as they are all company supplied).
Wera screw drivers are pants beaten buy felo any day, the grips are so prone to oil rot. Power bits and Allen keys are ok though.
Beta tools are useless and really don't last in any shape or form.
Facom has some good stuff, pullers and the like, screw drivers are ok as are their spanners and sockets.
Gedore and Calarous are complete pants in everything apart from pullers and nut splitter can be used with impact guns without fear.
Bahco excellent can not fault them apart from on screw drivers, tips are a bit like Swiss cheese. Shifters are still the best and always will be.
Stahlwillie in everything cannot take the abuse in terms of use very nice tools other wise but essentially disposable items.
Only elora slogging spanners and Allen hex sockets are any good all of their other sockets, spanners etc are completely useless and don't get me started on their ratchets and socket accessories, Halfords is better quality, no joke.
King dick the most coveted in the marine industry in terms of standard sockets and all types of spanners excellent, you cannot go wrong. Will outlast all the others buy many many years.
Britool expert pretty decent actually they hold up well and thats all that can be asked, again screw drivers are a bit useless.
Knipex in many cases to flimsy and break to often, personally bahco and Irwin makes better stuff.
Black bolt not pretty but gets the job done, last a fair while to, apart from torque wrenches.
Ridged make some awesome Stilsons on par with bahco and king dick monkey wrenches.
EGA makes some great spanners but haven't used anything else of thiers.
Pb Swiss the best screw drivers, bits and Allen keys you will ever come across.
Kennedy professional only used them for a short while at college but I would think that would speak for them in terms of thief quality. Brilliant tools.
Thor copper and hide mallets better than any others and better than those silly plastic hammers as they have some weight to them.
Irwin best hack saws money can buy in my personal opinion. Mole grips are a must from them, pliers are better than knipex, Irwin Hanson range of taps, dies and extracters is very good quality.
Hammers are hammers it's hard to screw them up with the exception of gedore as their handles keep breaking.
Del tech British company make very good sockets in the uk, will even make custom ones to order.
Klein tools, various meters, screwdrivers, pliers etc, very good, again better than knipex for pliers,
Fluke multi and clamp meters cant be Beat though Klein come a close 2nd.
From my personal colection which I use at home:
Snapon, good ratchets, spanners I find are so thin they hurt you hands, pliers can take or leave, sockets are good but only as good as the warranty seem to flimsy sometimes to me. Screwdrivers nothing special.
Mac tools precision torque spanners are good but odd shape and a bit uncomfortable I find, knuckle saver spanners can't fault them, pliers are good not the best but would have them over knipex.
Halfords better than a lot of stuff 3x the price, actually in terms of torx bits and allens would rate them above snapon as they don't break.
A German company that is supposed to rival snapon but I can't remember the name of, logo is yellow on a blue back ground, excellent tools cant fault them.
There are a few more I have used but can't remember the names of.
