Hello, I'll start by saying ive never done any brazing or welding, all i know is what ive been reading/watching on the net.
I'd like to start making a few things and im hoping i can braze it rather than weld it as it will be cheaper.
I'd be using oxy/propane as its cheaper and safer than acetylene. something like http://www.weldequip.com/oxy-propane-brazing.htm or something else if you can recommend better.
What id like to know is would oxy/propane be capable of heating mild steel 50 x 50 3mm Box section, maybe with a makeshift hearth to reflect the heat back. And would the bronze brazing be strong enough for things like a single motorcycle trailer or an abba stand clone.
