Like an idiot, I forgot to order more heating oil and now the boilers run out. Hopefully more being delivered tomorrow but I’m away all week and so need to guide the other half through getting it started again.
Do we need to bleed it through or just press the reset button on the pump a few times to pull the oil through? In the instructions, the bleed point is labelled as the long hexagonal shaft with Allen key in the middle just below and left of the reset button (bottom pic). To bleed, do I loosen the Allen key or the whole hexagonal shaft it’s screwed into?
It’s quite a run from the tank to the boiler (gotta be at least 50 metres)
