Ow do all. I may well of lost the plot now as for the boat now this jig idea to turn it over.
I thought about making one when i first got the boat ( a 20 foot GRP cruiser ) as it was a shell, now near fitted out so full weight of maybe 1200kg`ish.
I need to sheath over all the hull below water line and maybe up to the lower rubbing strake area.
It sounds drastic after all the work i have done on building anew transom and repairing the bow but i know i will need to cut into the bow somewhere and bolt into the transom for the mounts.
I am thinking it will be much the same as the car roll over jigs.
It stands at 8 foot high from bottom of keel to canopy top and as said 20 foot long x 6`9" beam.
I dont neeeed to make one but it will make it easier to repair and then sheath or jut another unneeded project.
Has anybody made one before for this size boat. Any problems with the boat being held in that positon while being supported at the bow and transom?
