Volvo Penta ag120, basically 40 yr old volvo car engine.
Asked to look at non runner that keeps stripping cambelts.
Find so much rust on the belt toothed pulleys that the belt is literally walking off the pulleys.
Cambelt tensioner bearing grumbling like a good un.
Cambelt fitted one tooth out on blalance chaft which drives distributor
Distributor timing out obviously.
Carb leaking from accelerator pump.
Alt waring light inop, wires twisted together and left that way.
Main power cable to alt two female spades crammed together and left that way.
Plug leads on cyl 2 and 3 fitted on wrong cylinders!
Now runs nicely.
