My father is turning 60 in two weeks time.
The 'boys' (i.e. his old chums!) have tasked me with doing a joint present and we've decided on a MIG Welder.
I have £350-£400 to spend 'all in'. That includes the welder, mask, first gas bottle and some welding wire to get him started.

Has anyone got any recommendations?
Anything to look out for?

I think I need the following
- Less that 150amp, so I can run it on the household leccy
- Gas, not no gas
- A mimimum power of 30 am or below
- A torch which isn't always on
