Enough ranting, I picked two of these up on ebay to replace the rather battered combination gauge
It's labelled Marshall Bedford and came with a fitting kit as if it was a retrofitted to existing trucks. The old gauge had the low air-pressure switches built in whereas this one does not so the fitting kit included these
so I welded them to a bracket so that they can be mounted up behind the dashboard
This gives low air-pressure warning and a feed to the gauges.
I had the dashboard powder-coated and started assembly; it looks rather fine! The new combination gauge did not have a fuel indicator so I added one of those and the last gauge is for the aux. air pressure. The switch will be for the electric fan and I probably need a warning light for that and a switch for the reversing lights. The old gauges I cleaned the glasses and resprayed the bezels.
