Hello from North Yorkshire. I have just joined this lovely forum after reading a fair bit of the contents. I am not exactly new to welding but I am a long way from being as good as I'd like to be.
I have Clarke mig151TE that is about six years old but not done a massive amount of welding and none at all for at least four years. I have recently become interested again after realising I had neglected my 4x4 and now it needs some welding doing. I have just replaced the wire liner, swan neck liner, wire feed roller and got some more tips, shrouds, gas and wire. Gave it a good clean out as well. Almost ready to go.
The vehicle in question is a 1998 Daihatsu Fourtrak Riviera. It is a long way from being pristine as its been my work vehicle for the last 24 years (I bought it at 18 months old for £12,000).
I will start a thread for my work on this vehicle as there are bound to be questions I would like to ask.
My name BTW is Stu, I,'m 50 years old, live in the Leeds / York area and love 4x4's (being an ex farmer).
