I'm looking into becoming coded before i make the move to Australia, I know at an educated guess that their codes are different to from ours here in the uk.
Problem is, i'm finding lots of different AS/NZ (australian/new zealand standards) but not really anything indicating what is what. My future father in law is in Oz. and has his own business repairing cranes, and knows a few people that need welders, he says theres at least 20 people easily he knows that would most likely want to employ me....well that good to know
He's mentioned to me that I should go for a 'SP 1301' Code (special purpose welding) or get something like a structural 3G V.up and/or a pipe weld code like 2G or 5g.
Can anyone point me in the direction of some of their codes and test procedures?
Thank you in advance!
