honestly i can say i've never been to anything like this, just wondered what the viewers here had done

My first mother in law and brother in law were on the Christmas edition of Generation Game with Bruce Forsyth and Anthea Redfern in the late 70s, And they actually ended up winning,Still have a couple of the prizes from the conveyer belt. We went down to London to watch the show being made on the thursday before the showing on Saturday,Had drinks and snacks with Brucie and Anthea in the green room after the show, Shook hands with Brucie but managed to stick the lips on Anthea,(maybe thats why they got divorced a few years later)

I was in a panning shot, as a Marshal, on the RAC Rally years ago just as a Porsche went ploughing through the crowd......

I was also on one of the regional news progs, again a good few years ago, shown drinking orange squash when the local area had a severe water supply failure. The orange squash looked like cider (which I'm much more at home with) it was a laugh as there was the presenter, camera man and sound man standing outside as they filmed through the kitchen window for some reason.

I was interviewed on Look North years ago when a water main burst underground and caved the side of a gas trunk main in filling the gas network with water...people had water coming out of their gas cookers!
Lots of shots of road closed signs, us pumping water out of gas mains, mini diggers opening up the road everywhere and men with GAS on the backs of their hi vis, with me pointing to a release valve with water jetting out saying that should be gas coming out, not water, and saying that we were trying to resolve the situation as soon as possible and we were aware of the issues it was causing blah blah blah.

I was filmed for Animal Park when I made these forLongleat.

8 giant leaf cutter ants, made in a domestic garage. A bizarre experience.
They filmed the artiste doing some welding and caught me leaning on the hot workpiece. Pillock.
The bulk of the interview I was dying of a hangover having been taken out the night beforeby the estate manager, the biggest beer monster in the world.
But it is quite nice being recognised on the street by the saddoes who watch day time TV.
I was also caught by the crew for Country files or something like that.
I hate it, I clam up and talk nonsense when anybody points a microphone at me.

Richard Littlejohn on LWT years ago. I was part of a pitch invasion by eco-warriors! As I jumped up on his desk resplendant in my top hat and purple ballgown I will never forget the look of terror on his face. He piped down for years after that

Forgot, my legs starred in a Guinness advert. I was actually doing tech support for the shoot, but they sent all the extras home then decided the light was good. We all had to don uniforms and run in the shallow water off the beach. Completely nackered afterwoulds, BUT, due to the rules, got paid a complete day for 'acting' on top of my pay for tech stuff and translation work. The ad was admired by the industry, the public were a bit puzzled.....

I got invited, with all the other people on the piece, to the studio to be there 'live', but as it was shocking weather and after I'd put the car to 'bed' for winter, I declined.

Ellesmere Port. Or mine was, at least. I'm not actually sure if all the HC Viva / Magnum / Firenza range were done there, but all the Droopsnoots were, finished off in a shed close to where the Hooton Park autojumble is held now.
