Well I have brought myself a Triumph Herald... well what remains of it anyway. In between the large holes is i think some decent metal to weld over the holes! To enable me to start welding..(It has to be the ultimate power tool) I need to obtain a welder.
I am on a strict budget (Wife and two children) so am looking for cheap but cheerful. i saw this on fleabay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Sealey-Mighty...itu=UCC&otn=5&ps=63&clkid=6101547217952399152
Sealey being a recognised brand i thought couldnt be to bad??? I have read welding with gas is better but could i manage gasless. I basically have some chassis to repair and lots of body panels.
Thanks to all those who have read this and have taken time to reply.
