Have any of you chaps had any experience with the aluweld style rods, where you need to heat your piece up to 300 degrees (or whatever rating youve bought) and then just tickle the join with one of these rods that melts into it.
im wanting to make a roll cage for my RC car and wondered if these would be any good as i dont have access to TIG or a aly welding facilities via MIG.
If these are no good is there any other way to aluminium weld withought buying a whole tig setup?
