I’m after replacing my bosch Ni-Cad 14.4v drill/driver as the batteries have finally died . I’m looking at an AEG 14.4 v drill driver with 2 A/hr NiCad batteries. (NiCad’s are fine for what I want to use it for ).
I’m looking at the AEG as the offer is Free lifetime parts including free batteries for life. Now looking at the terms and conditions it quotes: “Supply of replacement batteries are subject to a maximum of 2 times per year for each registered tool based on reasonable usage.” Just got to pay for postage (going to check this cost as it may be the killer!)
For what I need this seems like a good deal? Has anyone used the agreement?
I’m interested in comments on such an agreement – not comments about the actual drill/driver – and yes I know Ni-Cad is old technology :full!!!
