Hi all, I've currently got a 20 mm bore PVC overflow-size pipe through our garage wall which is the condenstae drain from our condensing boiler. A plumber who serviced it recently advised retrofitting a 40mm dia drain and since the outside pipe snapped off a few months (years!) ago (caught it with the bin when it was frosty outside & pipe was brittle) I need to replace it anyway.
My question is, what's the best wat to enlarge the hole? TCT core drills use a pilot dril, otherwise it'd wander like a wandery thing. Will it be a case of holding said TCT drill firmly to minimise wander until it's bitten into the brick then it should be OK?
