Hello Every
I was hoping for some general advise about water jet cutting. I am trying to design and build my own 3D delta style printer. Its quite important that the part can be fitted together accurately and with this in mind I think it would be better to get some of the material cut from 10mm aluminum plate using water jet cutting. My question is what is the minimum holes size that can be cut. I seem to remember you cannot cut a hole smaller than than the sheet thickness. My minimum holes sizes would be 4.2mm for tapping at M5.
My other question is can water jet cutting be used to mark out the material like laser.
Does anyone have an idea about the cost and what file format do this use as i am learning Fusion360.
Sorry about so many questions but not done this before so really don't know anything at this stage.
If anyone here uses Fusion 360 here is a link to download and model. http://a360.co/2FsyzN2
Any advice welcome and thanks.
My Best Regards Chris
