Hi all. Im new to this forum im hoping someone out there can help me.
im from sydney australia
this is not a welding type thing. however me being a full time shed tinkerer, i figure other handy all round guys like myself may have still have give plastic polishing a crack before.
here i have 2 indentical acrylic "boxs" with colored balls inside. This is an item i produce and sell. being all acrylic it eventually gets a few scuff/finger marks that im trying to work out what to do with. so i am trying all kinds of polishing/buffing methods.
the one on the left is unpolished, the one on the right is polished.
Im hoping you can see in the pick, polishing never gets it back to as clear as original, and as yet i cant find a polish that works.
heres some pics of what i have tried. i have tried these with lamswool, cloth, and foam polishing pads on both a drill and a buffer. and also with hand pads, down to tissues. everything leaves it slightly milky.
any ideas what else i could try?
thankyou
