The interview with the pilot is interesting with his comments that the bird did not look that good when he flew her. I guess that in the restoration, they probably did away with the original paint which was chosen for its heat-resistant properties and have now used a paint to provide best-appearance and weather-resistant properties (I think Intrepid display this Concorde in the open air rather that under cover)? Anyway, nice to see they have been willing to spend the money .
