The seller, who reconditions and offers quite a few oil-immersed units, says:
"The welding output is fixed at 70amps...The welder is most suitable for thin sheet metalwork ie classic car restoration and similar projects."
I've had partial success arc-welding thin sheet using around 20-45 amps. I don't think you'd get very far with 70 amps. Perhaps he means if you use the braising attachment, but that's not really welding, is it?
