Another thread about louvres this week reminded me to post this.
This is a 3" louvre forming tool designed for use in a pierceall turrett punch that I no longer have, here its still in the pierceall tool holder, I used to punch 2mm mild steel and 1.5mm stainless with it, and It cost me over £400 some years ago, which is why I never sold it with the machine.
Stripped down, these are the bits that cost the money
A simple tool holder for the flypress fabbed from a bit of channel and rolled flat, and bolt a 1" bar to the punch and its converted.
This is what it does, 2mm ally off cut being used here, even on the flypress it will easily do 3mm ally. and 1mm stainless
