Yeah 60% at full whack is more like it ha would be some duty cycle 100% at max ampsSorry it's 100% duty at 200a on mig and mma, 60% at 250a but I reckon that's conservative because I've never got it to overheat or anything. even running a continuous 4ft bead at full whack with 1mm wire in 10mm plate.
My old lincoln was 100% Duty Cycle at ..........600 amps ! but you could also weld bodywork on 1mm wire with it and it could run a 5M torch I also modded the old 3M one and put a euro connector on end of it so could go to 8M !! and it still pushed it----- fair dos though you had to make sure the first extension piece was as straight as poss. It was very handy for making /repairing modifying skips etc.Wow never seen a welder with 100% duty cycle at maximum amps,
The 300s Cebora, one of the best welders I had the pleasure to use, smooth, constantIve had a murex tradesmig 250 for over twenty years, still going strong, and a cebora 300 with a separate wire feed for ten years, both good machines.
