Hi bletchmonster.
The parweld is just smoother welding, especially at lower settings,
the wire feed is smoother too.
The oxford is better at spraying, and really is better suited to 1/4" and up,
even so, its feed motor takes off way too fast, there is no burn back or up slope on
either machine so adjusting this is impossible.
The parweld starts off if anything on the slower side to what I like,
but as said, If I was buying new I would have been looking for a Lincoln.
If you need to produce small really neat welds, I can not recommend the oxford
in the 330 amp size.
But either of these welders could do for the bigger welds, depends on what you
need the finished welds to look like.
