I am a newbie to MIG and wanting to buy a machine for the thin metal on a Citroen 2CV.
I am looking at the Clarke 90EN with a minimum of 24A or the 110EN with a minimum of 30A.
Should I go for the one with the lower current (acknowledging the limited capability for thicker metal) or is the 30A minimum a low enough option (have read the thin metal technique which seems to imply 30A would be low enough)
Any advice appreciated.
David
