It all depends on the inverter, I forget exactly but my one use 30 amps and it a 200 amp inverter,
an older SWP model admittedly.
Lorch make a 160 amp inverter that uses only 16 amp, it will run with -15 to +40% of the nominal
230 volt input.
It will also run off a batter they supply, if you want to spend the 1200.00 on it.
