Everning all. Just thought I would post some pictures of the current job I'm working on.
Its a 1860's ice breaker that was built by a boiler maker. In the 1970's it was overplated (well if that's what you want to call it) it's a very interesting project to have the pleasure of working on for the next few months. To start of with I have been grinding off the over plating.
The odd thing is how they have basically welded a 3mm skin around the old hull but only attached near to rubbing streat. And what a bodge the plating is.
