Still trawling looking at various options. I see R tech offer the 160 and 200 amp machines 160 welds 5 - 6 mm and 200 6 - 7 mm. I am looking in time to be weldinf 2 - 3mm maybe 5 tops . Would the 160 be working hard on ally? I want to DO MAINLY SMALL ITEMS , NO LONG RUNS, MAY BE ONE CONTINUOUS WELD WOULD BE LESS THAN A FOOT LONG. I see they do shop soiled machines with all the warranty. Any thoughts, I don't want a machine that will be overkill, then again I don't want to be struggling...
PS I see the local college have the 160s.
