Hello all ,I'm gonna buy a mig welder ,want over 150amp that does gas ,I've seen the super sealy 150 at 234 pounds on eBay ,are they any good ,what else do you guys recommend ,kind thanks
duty cycles on both are horrendousThank you I will look it up now
duty cycles on both are horrendous
10% at 100 amp, for every minute you weld you will have to leave it for 9 minutes to cool down
at 100 amps?, thats impressive, but -2 would help lolgulp
never seen that used mine much more than that when i done my welding trolley done most of prep work before hand was welding for 30 mins flat out with not much of a brake
edit it was -2 out side that might have helps
I'm interested in this thread as I was also looking at the Sealey Supermig 150.
The short duty cycle won't really matter to me as I can't weld for more than 30 seconds without cocking something up anyway....
this will do all you want goes down to 30 amps up to 160 ampsalso has a euro torch lot better than a fixed on cheaper spares for torch etc
