I've bought rods previously being shipped by Royal Mail, the sender cut them in half after discovering the max allowable length for sending through them was 900mm but didn't ask first
If I'd known in advance I'd have asked for a different courier...
Im shipping Titanium filler. Not going to bend it or cut it it needs to be straight .But the OP isn't shipping rods, he's shipping an empty tube suitable for filler rods.
if your actually sending a tube put something on it so it doesn't roll anymore.
parcel sortation machines don't like things that roll so they have to sorted by hand/get lost.
make sure your barcode is facing upwards.
Blimey I think I'll just flat pack it hahaA few parcel firms, such as UPS, are now refusing to accept round tubes for that reason, besides them falling off conveyors, and are now stipulating the use of triangular tubes with labels on all three sides...
