looks nice do you have a baffle in there as well ?
if you use secondary air below the baffle you can lower the input and still have the same amount of heat from it though it does use a third less wood when burning it
Cheers that's as far as I could go back I can still get a small frying pan on it.Hi, David, Lovely strong looking stove, I have built quite a few, Like you I prefer a flat top. But fit the flue further back so that the top can be used for a kettle for a brew or frying pan.
