Hello,
I'm new to this forum.
I was given a mig welder, it has been stored in a dry place and I was told that it was working by a nice guy who looked after his tools very well; unfortunately he died recently.
I cannot seem to get the black amperage button to move from it's depressed position.
Has any one had a problem like this ?
Advice would be welcomed before I take the switch apart and lose the spring as it shoots across the room.
It does weld but I can't seem to get the wire feed slow enough for thin steel.
thanks
T Bickle
