cant see it........is it me?
It should do Ally...you may need bits......liners, tips, drive rolls etc etcI spent about 2hrs googling last night (and im *good* at googling).
I found nothing except an address for a company called mih ltd(?) which apparently bought all the stuff for older murex machines - no website tho.
Im assuming itll take 15kg reels?
Will it weld ali? I know for tig i need dc. Is mig welding the same?
Seems to be.I have one, 40amp to 140 on the plate, cant see it all to tell you duty cycle, loverly beasty arent they.Arther
What sort of thickness Ali? 140a tig will do 3mm Ali so I'm guessing around the same?Yes it will take 15kg reels.
Alu mig is DC so yes for that too.
I just looked it up - AC on tig because the amperage to melt the oxide layer also melts the tungsten, the AC gives the tungsten chance to cool down so it doesn't meltHow comes you need AC for TIG, but can use DC MIG for ally ?
