I value my limbs and as sutch I like to keep my saws in tip top condition, regularly inspected and kept sharp etc.
But when checking the guide bar apart from assessing the bar for defects and inspecting the condition of the end roller, when it it time for a replacement?
Is it when the drive dogs bottom out in the grove and the chain no longer sits against the bar. Or are there any other signs to look for?
