Hi
Great forum and info guys.
Iam using a clarke pro 90 and am going to make a motorbike trailer for my sons 4 crossers, the steel is 4mm angle and box.
Is this welder ok for this, and as i will be welding all round the box and angle will the welds be strong enough?
The main question, i have had conflicting advice, is direction of weld, some say you always go forward, this forces the wire into the steel and melts/welds better,
Others say (as the tuts here) you move away, backwards from the weld.
which is the proper way?
in my practicing i find going backwards as the tut explains best as i can see whats happening better etc.
Also as i had this welder second hand does anyone know where i can get a manual from?
thanks in advance guys
