No, it's all tight. There is a frame in the roof for the sunroof so the roof itself is fairly rigid, just the bit I welded in. I'll see if I can get some pictures to show the profile
So the sunroof frame restrained the origional skin and as welds shrink they pulled some of the crown out of the new panel. I'm guessing the framework is gonna at least interfere with planishing the welds?
wont you be removing the sunroof gubbins then ? convert it to what plain roof one would be like?
Can't you fill the gap between the skins with a piece of wood then push on the inner skin with the jack?
