Hi, I'm currently making a wrought Iron gate. My client has chosen a design which has a swan neck/sweep at the top of the gate.
I will require four of these sweeps to get the required finish. I can purchase these ready made from a ironwork stockist. However it is going to cost me over £200.00 just for the sweeps.
Is there any technique I could use to bend the flat bar myself without purchasing expensive equipment?
This is the design I propose to make, but using flat bar on the sweeps.
