Hi everyone.
I am going through a midlife crisis, according to the expert aka (The WIFE)
I have been a carpenter since leaving school, but there is a limit on what you can do with wood and lately I have started renovating our home and garden.
I want small railings that sit on top of small partitioning walls, I also want small gates (not driveway gates) I also want to make a decorative railing for a staircase, main support is wood so these would be infills per say.
The main thing is I want to make them myself, sort of an achievement goal, something I can look back on and say, hey I did that, not yeah, she made me buy them. I am new to welding so the only info and knowledge I have is what I read in your tutorials, with I would like to commend and thank you for, they were an interesting and informative read.
What I would like to know is, what type of welder would be suitable for my needs and where would the best and most reliable place be to purchase said welder and supplies.
PS I do not wish to spend a small fortune, I have enough problems with asking for my credit card now!
Thanks in advance
all the best
Dave
