shoulda bought lemonade its cheaperWife was helping out at a big function last night, the bar that was set up was charging £3 a small bottle of water.
It is corkage that gets me, how can it cost up wards of a tenner to open a bottle of wine?

Because they haven't made a tenner on a bottle they could have supplied. And while I agree it's too much, you wouldn't walk into the same restaurant with your own food, and expect to get away with it

the country pub where I stop for a pint after Archery practice is only charging £1-90 for a pint of fosters!! And I think the beer is £1-80 for a pint of John Smiths.
£1.80 is still too expensive, John smiths is as bad as watneys red barrel was.
