I have a sierra cosworth 3 door hatchback and I have been fortunate to get hold of a genuine rs500 rear spoiler to fit, it needs painting and I am unsure how to get the best transition between the body colour on the spoiler which is moonstone blue metallic and the rear lip of the spoiler in satin black.
Is it best to paint the moonstone and clearcoat, then mask to paint the satin black or do the lip in satin black and mask to paint the colour, I presume some fine wet and dry will blend the masking line but really at a loss at best method to use,
I have even thought of masking for both and hoping they come out level if paint thickness the same, but masking this accurate would be almost impossible.
Has anyone tackled this type of job before with good results.
