Finally got round to making a gas bottle woodburner but before I weld the chimney on how good a seal does it have to be to the bottle ?
I'll only be using the burner outside as a patio heater and was thinking that a detachable chimney would make it easier to store over winter. Probably just weld a couple 3 or 4 lugs to the body and screw the chimney in place to these. Would the draw of the chimney over come the fact that there wasn't a perfect seal between it and the body or is this gap going to affect the way the burner works ? (Chimney is a 900mm length of 15mm flue pipe)
