It would be useful to have one. I have lots of stumps I could remove as part of the tree work I have been doing but they would not pay for the machine.
A friend has to move and is selling his spare Hyundai, which needs repair, so its a bit cheaper. Im aware Hyundai are poo as my blower wasnt great. Cheap chinese..
Probably adequate for my purposes, except for the size and weight! listed as 110kg! No way it can fit in my car assembled, so I am wondering how small it can be easily dismantled or modified to be transportable.
I have not seen in person yet.
I think a smaller chainsaw attachement type would be much easier for my to transport with only a large car.
Like this
However I dont yet have a suitably large chainsaw, and they are expensive attachements.
Should I buy the Hyundai?
Alternatively I have been thinking of fabricating a crude version of the above attachment to use from my cs340 (small weak saw, 1.3kw), but instead of proper stump grinder wheel, to use several stacked carbide circular saw blades. A long handle and plenty of guarding. Obviously neither would be PUWER certified.
