I sold my old cebora pocket 130 turbo for £250 last year. I was glad to see the back of it - crap wire feed, only 4 power settings, heavy etc. Although I replaced it with a kemppi inverter mig, I almost settled on a uptime inverter mig for £160. Without even trying it I know it would have been better than the cebora in every way.
I imagine most, if not all the Chinese inverter migs use the same parts. The wire feeds certainly look the same. And I can only guess at the electronics being the same, just the packaging differs... But with so many cheap Inverter migs on the market, why do transformers continue to hold their value? I get that they'll probably last forever, but I think that's their only advantage. I'm puzzled.
