His boy seems to get his googles from the same place you doThis old Tony
All those little projects you wish you had a lathe for are the projects you never get round to when you do finally have a lathe.
when you get a lathe you can make more usefull parts and just buy the tap wrench. things like that are made because you have nothing better to do been there and done itI can imagine... funny that the prospect of buying a lathe to make a tap wrench is more appealing to me then just buying a tap wrench though lol.
2 bits of 10mm square.when you get a lathe you can make more usefull parts and just buy the tap wrench. things like that are made because you have nothing better to do been there and done it
nothing better to do
Dont even need to tap the holes. My most used wench has nuts and bolts.2 bits of 10mm square.
Drill and tap two holes as per Tony's design and file a v between the holes.and a couple of bolts.
Perfectly serviceable and made quickly.
No lathe required. Doesn't look as refined but does the job.
A good enough excuse to by a lathe
I made a tap wrench at school
Still use it today
I never did metalwork at school, must make me the least experienced on here......
I am thinking of getting one...Something you're thinking of getting into Spencer?
Just one?I am thinking of getting one...
