'Dot your i's and cross your t's', anyone heard of this?

this ones not too bad as the box you type in is the same colour as the final post , another forum i use the typing box is blue-ish and i don't!
"see" my mistakes till its posted on the white!
Firefox is also helpful, underlining all my smelling pisstakes as i go

I never could spell properly, and avoided writing for years. Oh the joy of computers and their wiggly red lines, I can now express myself without spelling mistakes making me look like a fool. Still can't punctuate properly but I am getting better.

I think the key is in the will to write coherently, some just don't want to bothered with such trivialities and end up helping Uncle Jack with his horse.

Your post is perfectly good and it would only be the very picky who would mention that you don't need a comma before the word "and".

Interesting opinion Arther. Maybe those people are like me, wishing that others WOULD say something if I make errors that I didn't notice before the editing window closes. I went for many years thinking that "proffesional" was right and nobody every corrected me, which I found very annoying. I'm always open to learn something and improve my English skills , as you seem to be with your stirling efforts after your troubles. As I get older it seems that I spend far more of my time correcting silly typos etc so it is nice to have others looking over my contributions too. I find it embarrassing to have a glaring error that I can't then correct!
